 Jeff Allen

Jeff accepted the role of Executive Director in 2014 after retirement from the New York State Department of Corrections.  He spent 25 years as a Corrections Officer.  In addition to his duties as an Officer, Jeff served as Employee Assistance Program Coordinator and Critical Incident Stress Management trainer and program administrator.  Through that training, he joined the Western New York Stress Reduction team providing critical incident response to first responders.  In 2000, Jeff joined Kenyon International Disaster Management as a Family Assistance Specialist.  In that role, he deployed to the 9/11 terror attack in New York City, the Southeast Asian tsunami in Thailand and several airline incidents.

Directing a comfort care home was major paradigm shift but with a great staff, a wonderful corps of volunteers and a generous community, he is proud to lead an organization that provides the very best in end of life care.

Jeff lives in Oakfield with his wife, Darla, also a Crossroads House volunteer.  They have two children, Michael (Jessica) in Lancaster NY and Kaitlyn (Joshua) in Oakfield.  They also enjoy their two pups, Maddie and Max.
