VOLUNTEERING
THE CROSSROADS HOUSE VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE...
Allows you to put love into action. It opens hearts and fosters understanding, compassion and cooperation among individuals. Volunteering reminds us that there is goodness in the world and that life has a purpose! The Crossroads house selfless and compassionate volunteers are the main foundation of Crossroads House.
Without the “Crossroads House Volunteer Extended Family,” there would be no Comfort Home for the Dying to serve our community. You need not have previous medical experience, but have a willing and compassionate heart.
A volunteer commitment is four hours once a week or every other week. Free, thorough training is provided followed by mentoring sessions as well as partnered training with an experienced volunteer and our nursing staff.
You may contact us by calling Crossroads House at 585.343.3892
or e-mail us at: crossrd@crossroadshouse.com.
